Dr. Greg Tangonan will talk about the COMSTE (Congressional Commission on Science & Technology and Engineering) vision and the multi-stakeholder work of the Ateneo Innovation Center (AIC) in facing the challenge of global competitiveness and how this practice can be replicated at best.

Senator Edgardo J. Angara urged the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to direct their research projects toward solving key challenges facing the country today, such as disaster mitigation and food security. Angara called for a more relevant DOST during a discussion forum today hosted by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the DOST.
