Job positions have been opened for the recently launched Cloud Computing System (CloudTop). Among them are Deputy Executive Program Manager,  Assistant Team Leader, engineers, researchers, advisers, and specialistis in content, learning and training.

CloudTop is an innovative project that will level the education field by making it possible for students and teachers to have access to digital information and teaching materials, in the most cost-efficient way possible.

From the outside, everything about Diosdado Banatao seems average: he wears no expensive designer suits, nor carry fancy, top-of-the-line gadgets. But to anyone with even a fraction of knowledge of Silicon Valley and computer technology history, nothing about Dado, who also considers himself with “just average” intelligence, is truly average. He, after all, pioneered the very first PC chip set when there was not yet a PC industry and he created the graphics acceleration technology that made Microsoft Windows a viable operating system. Dado has helped propel the computer industry into a global phenomenon.

2010 was a year of partnerships – establishing new contacts and reviving the old ones. We sought to revive the energy and volunteer enthusiasm of the good old days when our Brain Gain Network (BGN) was just starting out  in the early 90’s. This past year, very interesting seminars were organized for visiting scientists, technologists and engineers, mostly from American academic and R&D institutions.
