The increase in usage and activity shows that we are all getting more comfortable using the Brain Gain Network for our professional needs.

It also amazes us that the members' activities have contributed to enriching the Brain Gain Network's content, noticeably stirring more site excitement and energy. The process has even conveniently made some potential connections (and eventually, friends) who share the same passions as we all do.

And that is what Brain Gain is all about: connections, networks. Through these we learn, build, and feed on each other's strengths in driving the Philippines to be competitive technologically and economically.

Aside from the working alerts system, you can now change the frequency of your BGN alerts (we know you all are busy ). "Settings", by the way, is located at the right-hand portion of your member home page. Just next to the welcome greeting.

You can opt to receive the e-mail alerts on an instantaneous basis or in daily or weekly digest forms. Subscription options to our BiG Networks News e-newsletter and other BGN announcements are also available.

Lastly, your BGN Member Profile. We hope you were able to accomplish this during the holidays. This is an important component in the Brain Gain Network: we are feverishly working to locate all (if possible) and identify our fellow Filipinos based on their areas of expertise because we encounter a lot of project proponents (e.g. government, private sector, non-profits) needing people with technical skills and backgrounds.

To locate you, they need to know more about what you do — at least your job title, company, and areas of business expertise... Please
