The Electronics Kapihan @ Calabarzon
BASIC PREMISE
1. Electronics is the country’s no. 1 export, accounting for about 60-70% of total Philippine exports.
2. The Calabarzon region is the largest contributor to the country’s electronics exports, contributing more than 50% of total electronics exports.
3. Most of the country’s electronics companies are located at the numerous export zones that dot the Calabarzon landscape.
4. A good number of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) that are in Calabarzon produce the science and engineering graduates that help make the region a vibrant area for the further growth of the electronics industry in the Philippines.
5. It is high time that a forum is created wherein the Calabarzon players in the electronics industry can meet; a.) to push the industry forward, b.) discuss common concerns and issues, c.) and network with one another.

3. Time and Date : 7:00a.m.-9:00 a.m. every second Thursday of the month (but for this month of February, it will be on February 10, 2010, Wednesday)
