GILAS cannot reach the last 3,000 of the 5,000 targeted schools because of the lack of broadband connections in the last mile. Please propose solutions. |

The Professors at UP DIliman have been working with Dado Banatao on wireless radio solutions for internet access to Batanes. You might collaborate with them on other solutions for rural cases. |

The solutions to areas where there is no broadband connection but is supplied by electricity is to develop stand alone learning platforms that teach basic concepts from Kinder to High School. The stand alone systems will work on a normal PC without any need for an internet connection.
